Quality Assurance/Independant Consultant

After spending 8 years as an Officer in the Royal Navy, Sven started in Quality Assurance at Life Science Research, Eye, in 1990. Whilst there he was involved in auditing a range of non-clinical studies, including mammalian toxicology, mutagenicity, environmental toxicology, environmental fate, physical chemistry and metabolism studies. In 1995 he moved to Mallinckrodt Veterinary (latterly Schering-Plough Animal Health) and was responsible for auditing GLP studies and trials conducted to veterinary GCP. He was also involved in auditing the manufacture of clinical trials materials.

Since 1998 he has been an independent QA Consultant. He has been employed by a range of companies and has been involved in QA activities involving GLP (laboratory and field), ICH GCP, VICH GCP and GMP. He has an HNC in Applied Biology and the Diploma in Research Quality Assurance. He has fulfilled the QA role at AgroChemex Limited since the company was founded in 2000.
